Signed and sealed :)

So today we signed contracts! Or I should say Sean did - I didn't need to sign anything.

There are a few other little things they need to do - but he said slab should be done in a couple of weeks. How exciting!

Because of all the delays (mostly me changing my mind about things) we'll now be looking at a February finish date. Which suits me. Gives us the time off over Christmas to really clean this place up.

I am so looking forward to the new house, though. And to seeing it all started off. Can't believe it's all happening :)

And it's here! Or it will be in 5 minutes ;)

Builder just rang to talk me through a few points before he emailed across the final price / plans etc.

Bummer I have to head out in a few moments, but will have a quick squizz first....

SQUEAL!!! Email has just arrived!!

Can't be too long, now. Builder rang yesterday to check whether I wanted our wall tiles to go all the way to the ceiling or whether I wanted cornice.

And today I had to confirm whether I wanted gloss bathroom cabinets or matt.

Am hoping to get final costings today. Fingers crossed!

Can't believe I've been working on this since February and we're not even at slab, yet!!!

So there's not a lot of movement at the station, this week.

Over the weekend we got the finalised colour selections, provisional building agreement and plans back to our builder to do the final quote (including site costs). Am hoping to hear back in the next few days.

Can't say I am very patient. Now the other house is down I am itching to start ASAP. I am sure it will all happen soon enough, though.
